Set just outside of Center City Philadelphia, Manayunk is a dining destination. Named for the Native American word meaning, “a place to drink by the river,” Manayunk offers The Couch Tomato Café© and The Tomato Bistro© not only a great location, but a very dedicated market of customers. At noon, the line for The Couch Tomato Cafe stretches around the block, as patrons line up for an award-winning Italian meal.
When the Couch Tomato decided to expand, owners Craig Mosmen and Michael Cassano called on Veneshe Master Venetian Plastering to create a rustic, terra cotta lime washed focal wall worthy of any Tuscan trattoria. Using a rustic Mezzo Tuscan plaster, Veneshe created an interplay of light, color and texture that anchors the wall leading up to the new Bistro dining area.
You can find more scenes from an Italian restaurant, Veneshe style, here.
