Announcing Veneshe's 2011 Venetian Plastering Classes

Veneshe is pleased to announce its new schedule of Venetian Plastering classes and professional Italian plaster applicator trainings. Whether you're a creative do-it-yourselfer eyeing one of our beautiful Venetian plaster finishes for your own home, an interior designer or decorative artist looking to expand your repertoire, or a professional drywaller, painter or plasterer seeking training

opportunities to expand your business, we offer Venetian plastering classes for everyone. Beginner to advanced Venetian plastering classes take place in our studio in beautiful Bucks county, Pennsylvania, conveniently located midway between New York and Philadelphia and easily accessible to Newark International airport and I-78. Our Venetian plaster classes run full days, include all imported Italian plasters and materials, instruction and essentials (like cappuccino, lunch and snacks). They end with sample boards of a variety of fine Venetian plaster finishes like Marmorino, finely polished Grassello and rustic Tuscan Mezzo to take with you.

"Lori is a gifted teacher who seems to run on pure passion for her medium...I can't even remember driving home, and that was after a full day of learning more than I thought I was capable of taking in." Becca W, Massachusetts

Students learn to Venetian plaster by doing, enjoying the hands-on troweling instruction, group demonstrations and opportunity to gain mastery over the movements and the material.

But the learning and support doesn't stop there. We're always available to consult with you on your Venetian plaster projects, answer your questions about various Italian plaster techniques and finishes, and provide tips and guidance to help you be successful. Some of our Venetian plaster students have joined us on local client projects, while others have brought us out to help with theirs. Others have been inspired to join Venehe on one of our Venetian plaster training and restoration projects in Italy.

The natural beauty of imported lime plaster from Italy is often imitated but impossible to compare with lesser quality plasters and synthetics. We stock the full line of FirmoLux imported Italian lime plasters and natural tints and can advise you on other brands of imported Italian plasters as well.
