The DIY home shows and products make applying Venetian Plaster seem easy -- yet the results that can be achieved using faux finishes and commercial plasters can be all too disastrous. In our Venetian plaster applicator training courses we teach you how to apply real Italian plaster using centuries old plastering techniques from Italy -- and you will leave class confident and ready to tackle your next decorating project.
Our in-studio classes in scenic Bucks County. PA include a one day introductory class as well as our popular 2-day advanced training.
We've taught hundreds of people to apply natural Italian lime plasters - from architects and interior designers, to decorative painters to Venetian plaster professional applicators. We've also taught homeowners looking to learn the basic skills needed for DIY Venetian plaster projects, and we've taught artists who specialize in frescos and commercial murals who wish to expand their portfolio to encompas Venetian plaster wall finishes. The lively mix of students in our Venetian plaster training courses makes for an interesting and enjoyable experience.
We're committed to your success, whether your post-training Italian plastering projects find you in your home, or out in the field. We are readily available for technical advice, and we are available by phone or online to provide you with whatever materials or tools you may need. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

"Now that it's been a few weeks since I attended your classes, I have had some time to digest and reflect what you taught. First, I want to extend my sincerest thanks for a great learning experience! You really did condense in two days, what your competitors would have taken between four to six days. Your personal hands-on attention was excellent. I also never felt that I could not ask any questions without feeling they may be too elementary...You have most definitely made it possiblee for me to see how I can add Venetian Plaster to my plaster business. Hopefully, even replace it! Because of that, I will most certainly be looking forward to establishing a long term business relationship with you and your products. Hopefully, even some joint ventures in our futures!

"Having no prior experience with venetian plaster, I had a desire and a dream, and I was extremely happy to learn that I can so do this! Lori is a great teacher! I found the techniques used to be easy enough for even a novice like me. I love, love, love the lime plaster, the feel of putting it up on the wall, and the sheer gorgeousness of the look when complete. All I can say is thank you for a fantastic and inspirational learning experience. I can't wait to come back again for more classes!"

It has been a week and a half since I spent 2 remarkable days at Veneshe, learning the basics of venetian plastering. I CANNOT WAIT to get started! Lori is a gifted teacher who seems to run on pure passion for her medium...I can't even remember driving home, and that was after a full day of learning more than I thought I was capable of taking in....and it still comes dribbling in as I go about the day! Thank you, Lori....can't wait to come back for a 5-day!
Our Veneshe class provided a unique and exciting way to both build my confidence in learning Venetian plastering techniques, and to be introduced to the storybook area of Tuscany. The countryside itself is inspiring, and the opportunity to be further immersed in the culture by completing a project while staying at Fagiolari was delight. It was rewarding to add to the beauty of this area via our finished room, and enjoying the wealth of historical/artistic/cultural treasures of Italy in our free time made for lasting memories and great pictures alike! Go team Veneshe!
It was pleasure to learn from you yesterday. I’ m impressed with quality of Firmolux products, family-like atmosphere and professional approach to teaching us. Meeting with you give me even more motivation to change my life and career. I hope to continue productive and beneficial relationship with you! Thanks!

Great introductory course into the use of Venetian plasters and their design possibilities. The hands on experience of making sample boards with the authentic material, required proper tools and in a simulated area (vertical as if a wall) provided confidence in the handling and application. I would recommend this course for the professional as well as do-it-yourselfer to see if this is a field/finish they want to offer or if they want to tackle themselves as in a homeowner. Suggestion, for the more analytical type like me: Would appreciate more factory information on installation tips as well as the different types of materials, uses and surface finishes. Thanks and look forward to hearing more about Italy in October." -Rich F
